Cristiano Ronaldo took his tally to 29 league goals this season, seven clear of Al Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 65th career hat-trick and second in as many matches as Al-Nassr beat Abha 8-0 in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday. The Portuguese star also provided two assists at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.
Ronaldo converted two free kicks in the first 20 minutes before turning passer with a cutback for former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane. The first free kick goes under the wall while the second finds the gap in the wall.
Ronaldo, 39, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, completed his hat-trick in the 42nd minute with a superb first-time strike past the Abha goalkeeper, taking his tally this season to 29 goals, a league-leading seven. ahead of Aleksandar Mitrovic of Al Hilal, in the race for the Golden Shoe.

Ronaldo made it five goals in total just before halftime when he set up Saudi midfielder Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem for a tap-in.
Abdulrahman Ghareeb scored six minutes after the restart and second-half substitute Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa scored twice with goals in the 63rd and 86th minutes to round off the goal feast.
Abha’s 8-0 defeat sees Al-Nassr climb to 62 points, 12 behind league leaders Al-Hilal, who also claimed a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Al-Okhdood.
