CM Ashok Gehlot, while addressing a press conference in Jaipur, announced five guarantees for the people of the state and promised that the guarantees proposed by his government would be implemented if his government was re-elected in the November 25 elections.

He also said the state government would purchase cow dung at Rs 2 per kilogram.

“Yesterday, I alluded to the announcement of five guarantees. Guarantees must be given after deliberation…. We will pass a law to guarantee the old pension scheme if Congress returns to power so that no government can stop OPS in future,” Gehlot said. He said his government would also provide smartphones with free internet service for three years to 1 million women.

Gehlot further announced guarantee of English education for every student.

Ashok Gehlot’s five guarantees are in addition to two guarantees which include cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 for 1.05 crore families and an annual honorarium of Rs 10,000 to the woman head of the family in installments.

The two projects were already announced by the Rajasthan Chief Minister on Wednesday during Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s public rally in Jhunjhunu.

The Rajasthan Chief Minister said senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s promise to waive loans to farmers was fulfilled in due time. “Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge say that ‘keep the promises you make’. Last time, Rahul Gandhi promised to waive (farmers’) loans in seven days, and the promise was fulfilled within the stipulated time frame,” he said at a press briefing in Jaipur.

But, speaking about the raids carried out by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara, the chief minister alleged that the agency had made Dotasara its target because he strongly opposed the Centre.

“The (Rajasthan) Congress chief has been giving so much publicity about the government’s policies, programs and decisions…however ED reached his house…This was only to target him because he talks a lot about the government,” he said.

“A chief minister (Bhupesh Baghel) had to say that more than dogs, it is EDs that are roaming the country. (Desh me kutton se jyada ED ghum rahi hai). What could be a greater misfortune than this? he said.

Earlier on Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at the properties of Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara and the party’s candidate for the Mahua Assembly seat, in connection of a money laundering investigation into an alleged leak of examination documents during the vote. bound state.

The premises of Dotasara, former school education minister, in Sikar and Jaipur, besides the party’s candidate for Mahua seat in Dausa, Omprakash Hudla, and a few others were raided.

“What is happening in the country? Democracy is under threat. The Constitution is in tatters. The ED, Income Tax and CBI are following the instructions (of the central government)… They have become a political weapon in the last 9 years and are only attacking opposition leaders,” Ashok added Gehlot.
