Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League with their 3-0 victory at Brighton.

Bukayo Saka scored a first-half penalty to give the Gunners the lead, before Kai Havertz scored from close range to double their lead just after the hour mark.

Leandro Trossard scored against his former team in the 86th minute with a magnificent shot to seal the result 3-0 in favor of the Gunners.

It means the Seagulls have lost further ground in the race for Europe, but have taken Arsenal back to the top following Manchester City’s earlier victory at Selhurst Park.
