Adam Lambert opens up about his next big music project and the state of the music industry.

The 42 year old man American idol former student is preparing to release a new EP titled AFTER. Friday May 31, he offered a taste of it by unveiling his song “Lube”. As the title suggests, this is one scorching floor covering.

In a new interview, Adam ” teased the project, describing it as “a little bit exciting.” He also spoke about other LGBTQ+ artists in the industry.

Speaking to Los Angeles Magazine, Adam explained that the project is “very free and liberated”.

“It’s for people who are owning their sexuality or gender identity. It’s about not being afraid to approach this subject. You know, it’s a little exciting,” he said.

Adam ” continued, saying that the project is “an opportunity without any restrictions or filters”.

“I just do exactly what I feel and what I think, I reflect my real life and I don’t change it in any way,” he said.

He went on to express his appreciation for his fellow queer pop stars.

“I am so proud of all my fellow artists for being able to showcase their identity and all the wonderful colors of the Pride rainbow,” he said. “We have real representation now and it’s really exciting. Streaming and social media have allowed artists to find their fans themselves in a very organic way; it gives power to the people.
