AC Milan players were confronted by the club’s Ultras after their elimination from the Europa League.
Stefano Pioli’s side were knocked out of the competition following a 2-1 second leg defeat to Roma on Thursday night, which saw the tie finish 3-1 on aggregate against their league rivals.
It was the Rossoneri’s third match without a win and – with the Milan derby approaching – their supporters made sure their frustrations were felt.
After the match at the Stadio Olimpico, AC Milan players visited the traveling fans and were confronted by the club’s ultras.
The players and staff stood up and were challenged by the supporters, who expressed their frustration after a blank evening for Milan.

The Rossoneri were knocked out of the Europa League after losing to their league rivals.
Away supporters made it known that their feelings were known by addressing the players and staff.
Chants of “growing balloons” aimed at Milan players were reportedly heard from away fans after the match.
The Italian giants face rivals Inter Milan in their next match on Monday evening before traveling to Juventus next Sunday.
Currently, Pioli’s side sit second in the Serie A table – 14 points behind Inter but six points above the Old Lady.
On the evening, Gianluca Mancini and Paulo Dybala found the back of the net for Daniele De Rossi’s side before Matteo Gabbia scored a late consolation.
Dybala’s effort was the pick of the bunch, as he curled a left-footed effort into the far corner of the net to give his side some breathing space in the match.
Meanwhile, it was Mancini’s second goal of the tie, having scored at San Siro to give his side the lead heading into the second leg.
Milan will now face the difficult test of facing league leaders and rivals Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Roma will now face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League semi-final.
Between the Europa League quarter-finals, Milan were held to a 3-3 draw with Sassuolo and will look to get back to winning ways against Inter.
After their victory over Milan, Roma will face Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen in the semi-final of the competition – Marseille and Atalanta will face each other in the following match.
English sides Liverpool and West Ham crashed out of the competition, following 3-1 defeats to Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen respectively.
