‘1923’ actor Cole Brings Plenty found dead at 27 after being named as suspect in domestic violence case

“1923” actor Cole Brings Plenty, the nephew of “Yellowstone” star Mo Brings Plenty, has died. He was 27 years old.

According to a press release shared Friday by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, officers discovered her body at 11:45 a.m. local time after being called about an unoccupied vehicle.

He was found in a “wooded area, away from the vehicle.”

His death remains under investigation.

Cole’s father, Joe Brings Plenty, also confirmed the news via a statement shared by Mo on his social media.

“I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us,” the statement begins. “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you have sent for Cole.

“We also want to thank everyone who came walking alongside us as we searched for my son and provided us with the resources we needed to expand our search areas. I learned this week how many people knew and loved the goodness of Cole’s heart.

Her father asked for privacy to “process” their grief.

After his death, his talent agency, Phirgun Mair, shared their surprise over his death.

“I will post something more appropriate when I can find the right words. This is not the news we were hoping for,” we can read on the company’s Facebook page.

Cole’s death comes just days after his disappearance. He was last seen on Easter Sunday, March 31, but was not designated as a “missing person” until Tuesday, April 2.

Cole was later named as a person of interest in connection with a domestic violence incident, which occurred the same day he disappeared.

“We identified him as a suspect, found probable cause for his arrest and issued an alert to local agencies,” Lawrence Kansas police wrote on Facebook.

He was named a suspect after officers “responded to reports of a woman screaming for help.”

Cole starred in two episodes of the spin-off “Yellowstone” as Pete Plenty Clouds and in two episodes of the television series “Into the Wild Frontier.” He also worked as a model.

According to his Instagram page, he was studying at Haskell Indian Nations University when he died.
