Zendaya wore Flapper Thin Brows to the 2024 Met Gala

Dark and dreamy, Zendaya’s beauty at the 2024 Met Gala is breathtaking. Even though she always peeks out, this year’s flapper-inspired makeup and matching peacock dress are enough to shut down the red carpet.

In terms of makeup, her eyes, framed by long, thin eyebrows, attract all the attention. They are surrounded by charcoal black eyeliner that blends into a sultry plum smokey eye. Although her eyes are partially obscured by a wide mesh veil cascading from an intricate fascinator, the colors alone are enough to draw you in.

While the eyes may grab all the attention initially, the other parts of her look are strong enough to hold their own, thanks to a cohesive color story. Her plum eyeshadow is complemented by a monochromatic blush worn high on her cheekbones and her almost black chocolate-cherry lips.

THE Challengers The star’s dark brown nail polish carries the color story to her fingertips. For an extra touch of Old Hollywood glamour, she added a beauty mark to her chin. The cherry on top of the ensemble, however, is the campy headpiece that sits atop a clean top knot from Zendaya’s longtime hairstylist, Ursula Stephen, allowing the curly tendrils framing her face to really sing.

The warm-toned plum of Zendaya’s makeup provided a beautiful contrast to her cool-toned blue and green Maison Margiela Couture dress. It’s not yet confirmed who the makeup artist is, but her makeup has similar vibes to the groundbreaking beauty look Pat McGrath created for Margiela’s Spring 2024 Couture show earlier this year.
