Jamison Hensley is a journalist covering the Ravens of Baltimore for ESPN. Jamison joined ESPN in 2011, covering AFC North before focusing exclusively on Ravens from 2013. Jamison won the National Sports Media Maryland Sportswriter of the Year Prize in 2018, and he is the author of a book entitled: Flying High: Stories of the Baltimore Ravens. He was the writer Beat Ravens for the Baltimore Sun from 2000 to 2011.

Owings Mill, Md. – Pro Bowl Receiver Zay flowers said on Tuesday that he completely recovered from a right knee injury which put him away for both Baltimore Ravens‘playoffs last season.

“My knee is great,” said Flowers at the start of the second week of the Ravens organized team activities. “I feel 100%. I feel like I’m ready for the season. No limits.”

Last season, Flowers became the first player in the history of Ravens to reach Pro Bowl as a wide receiver. He was Lamar JacksonThe best target, leading Baltimore with 74 receptions and 1,059 reception yards.

But Flowers did not play in the Ravens qualifying series after having injured the right knee during the final of the regular Baltimore season on January 4 against the Cleveland Browns. He marked the first time that he missed consecutive matches.

Flowers said it was “super hard” to sit on the loss of the divisional round of 27-25 Buffalo bills.

“When you play 17 games just to go to the first eliminatory match and you can’t play it, it’s still difficult,” said Flowers. “Missing a eliminatory match is different. At least we can play (the Bills) in our first game this year.”

The flowers did not need surgery to recover from the right knee injury. He was able to return with rehabilitation.

Part of the first round in 2023, Flowers is now looking to become the first Ravens player to produce consecutive reception seasons of 1,000 yards since Derrick Mason produced three from 2007 to 2009.

“We just have to make him the ball more,” said the attacking coordinator Todd Monken. “He is an incredible football player. He is not only an outdoor receiver who has elite skills. But he is incredible with the ball in his hands. So you have a guy who adapts to two positions and plays two places.”

In addition to the off -season training in Baltimore, Flowers took Jackson passes during their private training in Florida.

“It makes our timing fall,” said Flowers. “As if we have routes, he will say:” Make him in this way “or” I like the way you have executed it this way “. It is really about talking a lot and detailing the little things he wants to descend.”

Flowers, however, have no interest in representing the United States at the Olympic Football Drapeau Games. The owners of the NFL approved a proposal so that the players participated in Football Flag at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

“I play real football,” he said. “I don’t really worry about going to the Olympic Games. I’m trying to win a super bowl.”
