The Jets’ offensive line started taking hits early Sunday afternoon, and it hasn’t stopped since.

The fallout from the Jets’ 19-14 loss to the Panthers in Game 1 of the season focused on the offensive line’s poor performance, with rookie quarterback Zach Wilson being hit 10 times and sacked six times.

The focus on paid men to protect Wilson is justified, and the Jets need to improve quickly, but it’s not the only unit that can help Wilson’s second game go more smoothly than the first.
