American YouTuber Laina Morris was 20 when she first created the fictional character “Overly Attached Girlfriend” – known for her clingy, stalkerish ways and parodies. Justin Bieber“Boyfriend” from 2012.

Laina’s parody, titled on YouTube as “JB Fanvideo”, was a submission to a competition organized by J Biebs himself. His steady smile and stare quickly spread and became a viral meme. Today, the video has 21 million views.
