‘You’re a disgrace’ – Jason Cundy hits out at Jamie O’Hara for wanting Tottenham to lose to Man City

Jason Cundy was left dismayed after Tottenham fan Jamie O’Hara revealed he would rather Ange Postecoglou’s side lose to Manchester City.

Spurs are playing a key role in securing the Premier League title this season and a win or draw against Pep Guardiola’s men on Tuesday would give bitter rivals Arsenal the opportunity to win the title this weekend .

On the other hand, a City win would put them in pole position to seal a fourth consecutive Premier League crown, but would also kill Tottenham’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Postecoglou admitted Monday that while he recognizes the importance of the rivalry, he “will never understand if someone wants their own team to lose.”

After Aston Villa’s 3-3 draw with Liverpool on Monday night, which left the door open for Spurs to make the top four, Cundy asked his talkPSORT co-host how he was feeling ahead of the clash. Tuesday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“I don’t know what I feel, I’m conflicted,” O’Hara said. “I can’t bring myself to say I want (Tottenham to win). I’d be lying if I said that.

“You need some advice,” Cundy joked in response. “Ange said that any Spurs fan who wants to lose tomorrow night needs advice. He is 100 percent right.

“You can’t want to lose tomorrow night because if Villa had beaten Liverpool then I would kind of understand it.

“You can get to 69 points and losing Aston Villa to Crystal Palace is not impossible, so you can still get Champions League football.”

But Cundy’s words had no impact on O’Hara who seemed at peace with Spurs’ defeat to City and missing the riches of Champions League football.

“Hasn’t he watched Spurs for the last 15 years? O’Hara added. “I needed some advice as a Spurs fan.

“I have friends from Arsenal, I have to deal with people from Arsenal all the time. It’s all good for Ange, he’s from Australia.

“We’re not going to win the Champions League and besides, we don’t have a great chance of beating Man City anyway.

“He doesn’t understand what it means for the men and women who have to face the Arsenal fans when they win the league and we hand them the title.”

Kai Havertz says he will be Tottenham Hotspur’s biggest fan if they beat Manchester City to help their Premier League title.

Chelsea fan Cundy replied: “You are an absolute disgrace. We must forget Arsenal, remove the bitterness. If they win it, they win it. You have to take care of your own business.

But O’Hara had the last word and even mapped out his dream scenario.

“I am very happy to play in the Europa League,” he said. “Man City win the title and Arsenal finish with the same number of trophies as Spurs. I’m happy with that.
