A Chinese national has been identified as the sixth death in the Bondi Junction stabbing attack.

Before the attack, she was on the fourth floor of the mall, shopping and sending her boyfriend photos of herself trying on clothes.

After ending his girlfriend’s call, her boyfriend heard the news of the stabbing in Sydney.

He immediately called her back, but she didn’t answer. He had planned to marry Cheng after she graduated this year.

Five women and a man were killed while 12 others, including a baby, were seriously injured before Cauchi was shot dead by police officer Amy Scott.
