The Yankees announced that the left -hander Tyler Matzek was appointed for assignment. Which opens an active list place for the right -hander Jonathan Loáisigawhich was reinstated from the list of 15 days injured. Their counting of 40 men goes from 39 to 38.

Although he was going to start the 2025 season on the injured list, the Yankees believed enough to bring him back. They signed it with a major league agreement with a $ 5 million warranty and a club option for next year. It will be a good deal if he can return to this 2021 form.
