Xabi Alonso drenched in beer and Granit Xhaka called a ‘f****** G’ by teammate in Bayer Leverkusen celebrations
Bayer Leverkusen are Bundesliga champions for the first time in their history and the celebrations will last a lifetime.
The German team blew everyone away under the leadership of Xabi Alonso, so it made perfect sense for the Spaniard to be at the front of the party.

After the match in the dressing room, the former Liverpool midfielder was having fun when a pitcher of beer was spilled on his head.
It went very well in the locker room, which could be heard applauding.
Alonso played it all out and started sipping from his bottle again before being presented with a huge mug of beer which he began to drink.
The manager was also targeted during his post-match press conference, as Edmund Tapsoba and Jonathan Tah arrived and jokingly poured beer over Alonso’s head.
So, judging by these scenes, he might wake up with a very painful headache, which he’s unlikely to even remotely care about, given what he’s accomplished.
There were also some great scenes with Granit Xhaka.
The Swiss midfielder left Arsenal last summer to return to Germany and played an important role in Leverkusen’s victory.

The Dutch defender can also be heard saying: “My G.

They are now 16 points ahead of Bayern Munich with just five games remaining, so it’s not like the title race is close.

And the full-time whistle sparked wild scenes as the Bayer Arena filled with smoke as thousands of fans rushed the pitch to celebrate their magnificent success.
The German team can also finish the season with a treble and are one step away from reaching the semi-final of the Europa League and are in the final of the DFB Pokal, so there could be even more beer thrown at Alonso before the end of the year. .
