WWE’s Piper Niven gives hilarious reaction to partner Chelsea Green being mistaken for an ESCORT by luxury hotel staffers

WWE star Piper Niven burst into laughter as she recalled her partner Chelsea Green being mistaken for a hotel escort.

The Scottish wrestler was nursing a broken hand when she discovered her friend had been kicked out of a Manhattan hotel.

Niven’s injury meant the former tag team champions were absent from the WrestleMania XL card earlier this month.

Green was instead in New York for WWE’s RAW show before Mania when she went for drinks with a friend at the Plaza Hotel.

The couple had hoped to enjoy a little luxury on Fifth Avenue at the hotel’s Champagne Bar before heading to a Broadway show.

However, Green later revealed their plans were ruined by hotel staff leaving the five-star property over her wardrobe.

She wrote on
Fairmont Hotels and accused of being an escort because of your outfit.

“Life is funny! Maybe next year I won’t celebrate Wrestlemania weekend at the Plaza Hotel LOL…”

Niven was among the people who discovered the incident on social media, and she burst out laughing as she recapped the story.

In an exclusive interview with talkSPORT, Niven joked: “I wasn’t with her but she told me all on this subject.

“I think I even commented, ‘I can’t WAIT to hear about this,’ and I heard on this subject!

“I’ll probably keep hearing about it until the problem is resolved, which I don’t think it is yet.”

Niven’s partnership with Green proved a match made in heaven last August after the latter’s former partner Sonya Deville was forced to relinquish her half of the WWE titles due to an ACL injury .

Although fans may have thought they were a random couple, the two have a rich history dating back to their work for STARDOM in Japan.

Niven explained, “During this time she broke her collarbone, me and another girl, Kaitlin Diamond, helped take care of her, wash her hair, take care of her and transport and everything. It was a bonding experience.

“Honestly, Chelsea has helped me in so many ways that I don’t think I’ll ever really be able to tell her.

“She helped me with my confidence, she helped me with my struggle and kind of helped me be myself around more people.

“In fact, I have so much to thank her for.

“All the experiences we’ve had together have brought us closer together and I really think it’s the kind of chemistry you can’t fake – if it’s there naturally, it will shine through.

“She’s also prom queen, she’s a gorgeous girl and she’s done so much in her wrestling career and she’s never made me feel less than.

“She always made me grow up, she always gave me so much respect and I love her for that.”
