Social media influencer Logan Paul has signed a deal with WWE, the organization announced Thursday.
The pact is a multi-event deal, sources told ESPN, that will run through 2023. Paul will participate in the ring at several WWE premium live events (formerly called pay-per-views by the company) and will make television appearances in between. based on scenarios.
Paul appeared at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 alongside WWE Superstar Sami Zayn before making his in-ring debut at this year’s WrestleMania 38 in a tag team match with The Miz against Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik Mysterio.
The Miz and Paul were victorious, and subsequently The Miz turned on Paul. On Monday’s edition of Raw, The Miz called out Paul, apparently paving the way for a singles match at SummerSlam later this month in Nashville.
Logan Paul is the older brother of Jake Paul, another YouTube star. Young Paul found success in boxing, with several headline appearances. Most recently, Jake Paul scored a knockout against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in December.
Jake Paul is scheduled to fight Tommy Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, on August 6 in New York.
