Welcome to Wrestling Inc. results for “WWE Raw” for January 13, 2025, live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California!

The first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion will be crowned tonight, as Lyra Valkyria collides with Dakota Kai in the final of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament. Kai emerged victorious over Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance in a first-round triple threat match, while Valkyria defeated Ivy Nile and Zelina Vega. In the semi-finals, Kai then defeated Baszler’s Pure Fusion Collective stablemate Zoey Stark, and Valkyria emerged victorious over Kai’s Damage CTRL stablemate IYO SKY.

Damian Priest will face Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, but unlike their previous in-ring encounters, this time it will be in a Street Fight. Longtime rivals Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus will return tonight as they face off one-on-one. The two have had no shortage of issues with each other over the past few months, clashing multiple times on June 3, 2024 and August 5, 2024 before failing to dethrone Bron Breakker from the championship title intercontinental. in a triple threat at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

Chad Gable will be competing in his first match since December 30, when he defeated his former Alpha Academy Otis as he faces an opponent who has yet to be named. While it has yet to be officially revealed who will challenge Gable, it is worth noting that the impending arrival of former AEW star Penta has been heavily teased in a series of short videos leading up to the tonight’s show.

Plus, after dethroning Liv Morgan to become Women’s World Champion on last week’s edition of “Raw,” Rhea Ripley will appear on tonight’s show with something to share on her mind. CM Punk will also make an appearance tonight following his victory over Seth “Freakin” Rollins last week, as will World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.

We are live! The show kicks off with a video recapping some of the highlights from last week’s show.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee then welcome the crowd home as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
