WVU / Ill Combo Guard Sencire Harris Factory UC Pledge

Cincinnati won a commitment from the Virginia-Western Garde Sencire Harris outside the transfer portal. The native of Canton, Ohio, spent a season in Morgantown under the head coach of Indeniana Darian Devries. He is the second commitment of the next day after Kerr Kriisa is committed to UC a few hours earlier.

The old recruit of the Top 100 attended St. Vincent-St. Mary secondary school in Akron, Ohio, L’Alma Mater of LeBron James. He was classified as shooting guard No. 11 in the country and player No. 1 of Ohio when he was originally committed to playing for Brad Underwood and the Illinois Illini in the 2022 class. Harris never pointed out a cincinnati offer outside the school.

The 4 -inch 4 inch and 175 pound combo custody shows good athletics and bounce on the offensive side. He struggled to shoot last year, doing just over 11% of his 41 attempts at 3 points. Harris pulled 43% in the field and 75% of the free throw line. In Illinois, he pulled 31.7% beyond the arc.

He led the Mountaineers in interceptions with 1.7 per match, showing his prowess on the defensive. Harris scored two figures three times in the past year, with a 13-point season on Virginia-Western victory against TCU.
