Woman uses Be My Eyes app to see if her boyfriend is cheating on her

This woman signed up to be a person’s vision aid, but ended up with much more than she bargained for, especially hot tea.

“Guys, I passed away,” Anna (@annaconda309) says in a trending TikTok clip.

In the video, which has already garnered nearly half a million views in less than 24 hours, Anna explains that she signed up for the Be My Eyes application as a volunteer. The app connects blind and visually impaired users with sighted assistance via live video or AI.

Anna has had this account for a few years, but given that there are 16 volunteers for every visually impaired person, she hasn’t received a call to help so far – and boy, is she happy to picked up the phone for this call.

When she saw the notification, Anna was very excited, but she expected it to be something ordinary, like reading a set of instructions or choosing a color.

“No, this girl straight up said, ‘So this is my boyfriend’s cell phone, and I want you to read me the names in his call history,'” Anna says, adding that the woman had the agitated air.

“I’m like, ‘Excuse me?'” But she complied with the request.

Sure enough, there was one girl in particular that he had called several times.

“And he didn’t like it,” Anna said.

Now, like the rest of us (unless you’re pretending not to be a chismosa), Anna wanted to know the whole situation and the story of the situation, but the woman hung up right after getting the information she was looking for.

“So I’m happy, after all these years, that I was finally able to help someone, but it wasn’t the kind of help I expected,” Anna says, concluding the minute-long video. .

In our imagination, the woman on the phone went directly to confront her boyfriend. He probably gave her a lame excuse, so she dumped him on the spot while he begged her to give him a second chance. But that’s just our imagination. We doubt we’ll ever really know what happened, and that’s okay. Frankly, it’s none of our business (even if we want to participate fully).

People in the comments section were living for the unexpected interaction and mayhem.

“I would have said ‘girl, go look at the texts, let me read them for you!'” read one of the top comments, with more than 10,000 likes.

“OH IT’S DISORDERING!” Let me sign up,” one person said.

Others have shared their own experiences with the app.

“I helped someone read a pregnancy test!! I was like ‘this is… positive!?! Are you…?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, no, I’m keeping it,'” one commenter said.

“Years ago I helped a guy in London pick out a shirt because he was blind and had a friend with him, but the friend was colorblind and couldn’t tell if his clothes were assorted, it was great! another shared.

“My first call was to help someone set their insulin pump numbers. I was stressed, one person said.
