A woman was stabbed Sunday near the intersection of Newbury and Gloucester streets, police said.
A woman was stabbed Sunday evening in the Back Bay neighborhood, according to Boston police.
Officers responded to the intersection of Newbury and Gloucester streets, about two blocks from the Hynes Convention Center, around 9:45 p.m.
They discovered a woman had been stabbed in the abdomen, a BPD spokesperson said Monday morning. She was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the victim has not been released. It is unclear whether she remains hospitalized Monday.
The suspect fled the scene and no arrests were made. An investigation is underway, police said.
