A man wearing a wedding ring and allegedly flirting with a woman on a flight to New York has sparked widespread interest online.
Caroline Rened recorded the unidentified man getting close to a woman on a United Airlines flight from Houston, Texas, in now-viral footage – and inadvertently caught the attention of millions by line.
In her caption, Rened explained that the man was sitting next to a woman she thought was called “Katy” and that she met him at an airport bar before the two men board the plane.
“If your husband is the one flying United Airlines Flight 2140 from Houston to New York, he’s probably going to stay with Katy tonight. He and Katy met at the airport bar and haven’t been apart since,” the passenger said.
Video of the interaction shows the man, dressed in beige shorts, a green t-shirt and a baseball cap, chatting with the woman row behind Rened as passengers board the plane.

In the caption, Caroline Rened said the man was sitting next to the woman as he allegedly met her at an airport bar before boarding the plane.
At one point, the married man is seen with his shirt pulled up halfway as he turns towards the aisle, before continuing his conversation with the woman.
The two men are seen in footage continuing to talk throughout the flight, with the man appearing very animated during their conversation.
Rened said she was able to figure out that the man was from Fort Worth, Texas, and that he was a relative.
“He convinced her to change seats so she could sit next to him and they could drink,” Rened said.
“I don’t know his name but I know his because he keeps saying it.”
The passenger added that she heard the man say that he was a surfer and that he was “supposedly” the president of the company he works for. She mentioned that he also said he was going to New York on a business trip.
“I wouldn’t have known he was married if he hadn’t been wearing his wedding ring. Excuse me for rubbing my eyes, I didn’t know what else to do to self-record,” continued Rened.
The passenger added that she heard the man say he was a surfer and that he was “supposedly” the president of the company he works for.
Viewers quickly commented under the video, and many showed their support for Rened for recording the moment.
“She was within earshot. She’s an obligatory journalist. Thank you for your service,” one wrote.
Another said: “As someone whose husband cheated for a long time and was in the middle of a divorce, I wish someone would have done this for me.”
