A woman was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of the American border patrol agent earlier this week on a Highway from Vermont near the American Canadian border, the FBI office in Albany said on Friday.
Teresa Youngblut, a 21 -year -old Washington state resident, was accused of assault against a federal law enforcement agent, said the FBI.
American border patrol agent David Maland, 44, was shot down on Monday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Coventry, Vermont, and died later from his injuries, A declared the police of the state of the Vermont and the FBI. Coventry is about 13 miles south of the Canadian border.
Maland was assigned to the SWANTON CBP sector, which covers certain parts of Vermont, New York and New Hampshire, an American customs and border protection spokesperson previously declared to CNN.
