As Pulse Progress in his later episodes, he distinguished himself by living in space that is not always displayed on the screen. “I think the show lives in this gray area throughout the season,” explains Fitzgerald.

“I think what really distinguishes him for me just in terms of how we think of good and bad on television,” she adds. “The way you feel Danny or Phillips in episode one is very different from how you feel these characters in episode five, which is very different from these characters in episode 10.”
