Will Daniel Radcliffe join the Harry Potter TV series? He says…

The actor, who played The Boy Who Lived in the Eight Harry Potter films – said he was unlikely to make an appearance in the next Harry Potter TV series when it comes out on Max in 2026.

“I don’t think so,” he exclusively told E! News at the Drama League Awards on May 17, explaining that he thinks the producers would like to keep the two franchises separate. “I think they very wisely want to (have) a clean break. And I don’t know if it would work if we did something in that area.”

But it’s for the best, according to Radcliffe, who doesn’t want to put on his Hogwarts robes again. As he noted in his E! interview, broadcast on May 20 at 11 p.m., “I’m very happy to watch with everyone.”

However, the door might still be slightly ajar, as Radcliffe remained coy on what his response would be if the Max production did ask him to come back.
