Wrestlemania 41 fans shocked when the world champion of the TNA Joe Hendry appeared as a surprise adverses of Randy Orton, and Orton did a short job of him. That said, the reason Hendry is chosen for this place has been revealed.
According to Cory Hays de Pwn, several names have been suggested for the open challenge of Randy Orton to Wrestlemania, but Orton personally chose Joe Hendry because he is a fan of Hendry and his work.
As previously indicated, WWE had already planned Joe Hendry’s surprise appearance in Wrestlemania even before Kevin Owens announced his neck injury. The decision was already in motion, and many within the TNA were not sure before Saturday, a few hours before the match. Hendry’s name was not listed on the internal WWE production sheets, helping to keep the surprise secret.
Even if Hendry is still under contract with TNA, it has been confirmed that her agreement will expire over the next 12 months. He now has an agent and WWE has shown continuous interest in him. They would have brought it for various appearances and matches in the past.
This occurs after Triple H has already confirmed that Joe Hendry will appear during the future events of Wrestlemania. Even if Joe Hendry quickly lost against Randy Orton in Wrestlemania, his appearance strengthened his profile significantly. Fans are now delighted to see the next step for him, whether he stays in TNA or ends up moving to WWE.
