Why Travis Kelce missed Taylor Swift’s shows at Madrid Eras

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might just be the most supportive partners in the world. No matter how busy they are — and the power couple certainly has their hands full with soccer games, film projects, concert tours, and more. – they always take the time to encourage each other from the sidelines.

Unfortunately, Kelce had to miss some of Swift’s performances. The tour of eras European shows after attending his show in Paris and enjoying an “incredible” romantic getaway to Lake Como. The football player/podcaster/TV host/actor/fashion lover, however, has a good reason to stay stateside while Swift tours Europe.

Kelce missed Swift’s shows in Sweden, Portugal and, most recently, Madrid, because he’s in the United States for a very important event: Kelce, along with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates, are traveling today to the White House to meet with President Joe Biden and celebrate their victory. Super Bowl win earlier this year.

Not to mention, Kelce and teammate and friend Patrick Mahomes participated in a Chiefs voluntary OTA (which stands for organized team activity that takes place during the NFL offseason) on Thursday, as shown in a video shared with X by sportswriter Aaron Ladd.

As previously mentioned, Kelce fittingly attended Swift’s 87th fashion show in Paris alongside her good friend Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper. The trio was captured dancing to Swift’s song “Blank Space” in a viral video. On the May 15 episode of his older brother Jason Kelce’s podcast New heights, Kelce talked about spending time with Hadid and Cooper on the show. “I got to see Gigi and Bradley,” he said. “Bradley Cooper, man. BC, Big Coop. We were all in the suite having fun. They’re amazing.”

Kelce added that “it was a great night all around.”

“I don’t know if they’re getting better or if I keep forgetting how they’re doing,” Kelce exclaimed. “It was electric.”
