Why ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Won’t Have a Season 14 Reunion

ET confirmed that Bravo canceled the The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 reunion.

A source told ET that the cast was informed of the network’s decision on Tuesday, with a separate source with knowledge of the situation confirming to ET that the franchise would not have a traditional reunion this season. The source added, “A reunion is supposed to have a resolution and it’s clear in the season finale that there is no path forward in this type of setting.”

Additionally, the source claims that Bravo is “in the process of coming up with a different concept to wrap up the season” and that “nothing official about the future of the show has been decided.” ET reached out to Bravo and the network had no comment.

The website All about the truthwhich is dedicated to covering all things Housewivesfirst announced the news.

The cancellation of the reunion comes as season 14 is currently underway. It was only last month that Bravo shared the trailer for Season 14, which teased yet another explosive tabletop fight. The scene opened with Dolores Catania sitting alone at a table amid broken glass strewn across the floor of Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, New Jersey. A sense of unease hangs in the air as a producer asks, “How did we get to this?” Although the details of the restaurant altercation remain shrouded in mystery, it’s clear that tensions are high between the housewives.

Melissa GorgaIt is slogan for season 14, it all sums up his relationship, or lack thereof, with his sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. Both ties cut for good after recording season 13 reunionthere is no contact during filming season 14. Viewers will see the two attend the same events, but according to Gorga, they haven’t interacted once – and Gorga doesn’t see that ever changing.

ET’s Brice Sander spoke to Gorga ahead of the season 14 premiere and shared that she and Giudice had reached the point of no return.

“Unfortunately,” she said points out to ET via video chat. “I finally accepted this. I fought for so many years for others. Honestly, more than myself, I fought for family, for my husband and my children, and I realized that It wasn’t worth fighting for and in fact I’m not doing them any favors.”

As for Giudice, she recently told ET she can’t wait for fans to get a glimpse of the finale, adding that she will finally walk away “victorious” after years of feeling attacked.

“I’m so done with it,” she said. “August will be two years ago (Louie Ruelas) and I am married. It’s like I knew they were obsessed with me. It’s good. I get it, you know, you’re obsessed with the queen.”

As for the future of RHONJ, Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen previously told ET the way Bravo shot this season of New Jersey was “probably not” sustainable, a sentiment Gorga agrees with.

“Whatever Bravo decides to do, I’m fine with it,” she replied when asked what might happen in season 15. “I don’t make demands. I come to work. J I have a very strong relationship with the show…so, I feel like whoever they decide to choose – or not choose – I’m fine, in my own way with my own family and my own children, and I will take care of them when I have to take care of them.

“I feel confident enough to say that no matter who you have in the room, I’m OK with that,” she says. “Why should I stress about things I can’t control? »
