Actions of PALANTOUT Technologies (Pltr -7.78%)) Lowered Thursday, lowering 5.9% to 2:48 p.m. HE. The downward descent stops as S&P 500 lost 0.2% and the Nasdaq Composite dropped by 0.4%.
A report last week of The New York Times asserted, among other things, that Palantant, who takes advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) To analyze massive data sets and help customers make better decisions, has acquired incredible access to data through the federal government, which could give President Donald Trump “countless supervision”.
Notwithstanding ethical concerns, investors have considered the report as an additional proof that the Palantant results will continue to grow as it will still become anchored in the functioning of the federal government. However, in an interview with CNBC on Thursday, CEO Alex Karp was categorical that his business “does not monitor the Americans”, which led to the decline of the action today.

Even if what Karp says is true, however, the company is always deeply rooted in the federal government, and this relationship seems to grow.
Despite this increasingly comfortable relationship, I always think that this stock is simply too expensive. I have no doubt about the ability to take palanting to earn new government contracts, but I don’t think it can grow enough to justify its incredible evaluation. It is Price / benefit ratio (p / e) of 560 is extremely high and, in my opinion, divorced from reality. There is no doubt that Palant, overall, runs at a very high level, but a valuation that this means that it must perform perfectly.
