Why the NFL factored Taylor Swift’s Eras tour into its new schedule

It’s no secret that Taylor’s presence at NFL games has caused a stir, both among his fans and football fans. But as Travis’ brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce As we have pointed out, hedging occurs because the demand is there.

“The attention is there because the public wants to see it,” he told ABC affiliate WCPO 9 in February. “I mean, if people didn’t want to see it, they wouldn’t show it. I know that. She’s a global star, she’s the ultimate artist in the world right now, a songwriter- performer, an immensely talented and incredible role model for young women around the world.

He added: “I think the NFL would probably be stupid not to show him.”

As for Taylor, the Grammy winner explained that she doesn’t care if she’s shown too much: she’s just there to support her man.

“There’s a camera about a half mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera puts you on the show, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 once or once,” she said TIME in an interview in December. “I’m just here to support Travis. I don’t know if I’m showing off too much and pissing off a few dads, Brad and Chad.”
