Kansas City will be looking to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three consecutive titles, and Mahomes will be looking to continue his march toward becoming the greatest quarterback in league history, if he isn’t there already.
Yes, it’s blasphemy to already lump him in with new Fox analyst Tom Brady, who still has more than twice as many championship rings as Mahomes by a 7-3 count.
Still, the Chiefs superstar, at just 28, still has plenty of years to catch up, and he’s already statistically ahead of Brady, Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers or anyone else you might name in the GOAT conversation.
