After the newlyweds had a fairytale wedding on Natalie’s family farm in Georgia, their happily ever after hit a major obstacle at airport customs in the Turks and Caicos Islands, where they had planned to spend their festive vacation.

“We don’t sleep, we sleep through it,” the Bachelor Nation star explained on an episode of The Viall files. “The officer stamps the passport, goes to hand it back and says, ‘There’s a torn page here.'”

And while Nick, who had been using his passport as identification since losing his driver’s license, initially thought it was his passport, it turned out to be Natalie’s .

“I used this passport, I never had a problem,” she explained. “I have no idea what’s wrong.”

Customs officials informed Natalie and Nick, whose 2-month-old daughter River was also with them – that they should send Natalie back to the United States due to concerns about her documents.
