When I joined Costco in 1997, I lived in California with my then-husband. We would wander the aisles, loading our cart with all sorts of fun things, then go get pizza from the food court.
After we split up a few years ago and started buying just one, there was no way I was going to give up my membership.
After all, the wholesale club has 129.5 million membership card holders, which range from small households to medium-sized businesses. I was sure I would get the most out of my membership to purchase one.
