Why Jason Priestley moved his family away from Hollywood

Jason Priestley Can’t go back, but he found a way to slow it down a little.

After spending more than three decades in Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills, 90210 former student moved to Nashville with his wife, Naomi Priestley, and their two children – and suffice to say they love their new zip code,

“It’s just the ease of use,” Priestly told E! News in an exclusive interview from his home in Music City. “It’s so much easier to live your life here. And it’s a nice, interesting place.”

The Vancouver native also realized what he had been missing during all his years in Southern California.

“We have four seasons instead of just one,” he explained. “Because you have benchmarks and you know what time of year it is, it seems to slow down time a little bit. There was something about the homogeneity of Los Angeles, where you wondered, ‘Is ‘Is it March or is it October?’ I don’t know, I can’t really say. So time kind of evaporates. Whereas living here, with four very distinct seasons, you have to take advantage of what they offer.
