Setting breakfast before 9 a.m. could considerably reduce your risk of suffering, suggests a study.
Scientists found that men and women who ate after 9 hours were 28% more likely to have problems in bad mood and mental health than those who ate their first meal the day before at 8 am.
Banking breakfast had an equally harmful impact on psychological well-being, revealed the study.
Almost one in two people in the United Kingdom cannot find time to have an appropriate breakfast, surveys, and almost a third of those who take something on the way to work eat at their office.
Doctors at the first affiliated hospital at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China studied morning eating habits of nearly 24,000 adults over 11 years.
They documented if the volunteers regularly have breakfast in the morning and, if they did, at what time.
The results, published in the Disorders Journal of Affective, have shown that those who ensured that they were eating in the first time were less likely to be diagnosed with depression than those who regularly lacked breakfast.

And the first guests who ate before 8 a.m. were also less at risk of mental health problems than those who dine at 9 a.m. or later.
We do not know precisely why the delay in breakfast has such a harmful effect.
A theory is that eating later or not at all can be an indication of broken sleep, a sedentary lifestyle or a lack of daily motivation – all the potential warning signs for the failure of mental health .
