Sam Kerr will not play for the Matildas in the next Shebelieves Cup in the United States – but it is not due to his recent trial.
Kerr, 31, was found not guilty of racly aggravated violence after calling a stupid and white `police officer in a lively row in a London police station in January 2023.
She led the comments on PC Stephen Lovell when she was taken to the station by a taxi driver after vomiting in her vehicle and her fiancée Kristie Mewis broke in a window.
The best footballer in Australia told the jurors she feared and the American international Kristie Mewis was kidnapped by the taxi driver – and she made petulant comments because PC Lovell did not manage to listen or understand his “ privileged position ” as a man.
PC Lovell said he felt “depreciated and upset” by Kerr following his comments.
Kerr was acquitted by a jury at Kingston Crown runs after a little more than four hours of deliberations.

Kerr will not appear in the United States against hosts – the more Japan and Colombia – because it is still recovering after having broken its LCA in a Chelsea training camp in January of last year.
She should come back in March, but the blues release her in training.
Steph Catley will continue to captain the Matildas with Kerr away.
In the United States, the defender Ellie Carpenter avoided the questions surrounding Kerr’s vague status as a long-term skipper of the national team.
Football Australia also has no final answer to the question to which football fans wish to answer.
“It will be my only comment concerning Sam,” Carpenter to journalists told.
“I hope obviously she is fine and (worries) her well-being … It was a very difficult period for her.
“Second, we hope that her rehabilitation trip with her knee is going well, and we are all looking forward to seeing her on the ground.
“It’s such a hard and long trip. “I also lived it, so I really hope that she will be (soon) back on the field by doing what she likes … It will be the best thing.
