Apple now urges all iPhone users to install their last security upgrade, iOS 18.5, which includes a correction of the critical security problem.
Released on May 12, the update is available for anyone with an iPhone XS model or subsequent version and blocks the pirate entry point by adding better checks to prevent harmful files from causing user problems.

“Tell your parents, your grandparents, your neighbor – anyone with an iPhone. These updates are no longer optional – they are your first line of defense.
