After months of decoding clues, fans of “The Masked Singer” finally know the identity of the last four candidates.
The singing competition broadcast its final of season 13 on May 7 and unmasked four celebrities in a drunk episode.
In the end, only one could bring the Golden Mask Trophy to the house, and the competitor known as Pearl stood out a little more than its competitors.
In the last moments of the show, Pearl removed his mask and turned out to be the singer Country Gretchen Wilson. Robin Thicke, one of the four celebrity judges in the series, was the only one of his colleagues to guess the identity of Pearl.
“Well on you,” applauded Wilson after explaining that “her” individual, looks like anyone else “led her to suspect that she was pearl.
When the host of the show, Nick Cannon, asked Wilson what had inspired her to come on “The Masked Singer”, she opened her doors on a “a few years” she recently lived.
“I was injured. I was in a wheelchair. And there was a time when I didn’t think I would come back to this place. And I worked very hard. I prayed very hard. And I went so far. But this opportunity really proved to me that I can’t do it,” she said.
Earlier in the episode, Pearl watched his trip to “The Masked Singer”.
“Whenever I put this pearl costume, I think it’s so strange that I managed to be this jewelry princess,” she said in a video interview before the revelation of her identity. “It’s so different from me. I would say that the hooded sweatshirt and the tracksuit is more in line with whom I am. What can I say? I am grainy, raw, shamelessly. I have always been like that. And many times, especially when I was struggling for the first time, it made the success of my success.”
Who else was in the final of season 13?
Pearl was not the only big unveiling of the night. Boogie Woogie, a crazy and coral scientist also reached the final and sang their hearts while competing for victory.
In the end, the star of “zombies” Meg Dongelly was exposed as a coral. The famous judge Rita Ora properly guessed her identity and congratulated Donelly, saying that she “really held birth” in the competition.
While reflecting on his decision to join the cast of “The Masked Singer”, Donelly said: “I made this show to become more comfortable on stage, singing. It’s something that I am always really nervous and unsure and that just helped me enormously.”
The crazy scientist turned out to be Brian Kelley, country singer and former member of Florida Georgia Line. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg has clearly guessed his identity.
Kelley said he wanted to “challenge me” to sign it for the show.
Boogie Woogie was revealed as a singer Andy Grammer, but none of the celebrity judges could guess his identity in advance.
“It was incredible to sing so many different songs and styles,” he said about his experience in the series.
