The episodes of this week of Daring and beautiful came dangerously close to being a parody of a soap for Brooke’s hypocrisy, the extremely inappropriate behavior of Sheila and Luna and typically repetitive dialogue.
Liam’s last dance?
How does no one worry about Mia Liam? Of course, Bill was furious against his son the last time they talked, but he really seems to be the kind of guy to let a wound heal? No question, he would have completely confronted Liam, asking if he had still seen the error of his ways. Hope said Liam had not called her or Beth lately, but did not seem extremely worried.

It seemed quite obvious that the week was going to lead to Liam trying to attend the dance / daughter dance, which was discussed more than anything that is linked to fashion … which is strange, since next week, the show launches a big fashion show! Anyway, I should have guess that they would not spend the money to organize a dance in its own right. Instead, Steffy whispered a disco ball out of the kitchen closet – despite this small kitchen that she could not host a decent food processor – so a Liam wearing touque could boogie with his offspring.
I hope it was not supposed to be a big surprise that Liam had an inoperable brain tumor because they revealed it in last week’s promotion. Let’s see a hand demonstration … Who thinks Liam will really die? I suspect that Bridget and Finn will draw the same basic miracle they did when Eric was dying last year.
Is there a designer in the house?
So, apparently, the episodes of next week will focus on a Forrester fashion show. But what I wonder is … who designed this collection and when? I ask this, because I was suddenly struck Thursday with a strange thought: despite the fact that I put myself in the fashion industry, Daring and beautiful Currently includes more doctors than designers. Bridget inexplicably wandered in the corridors of the hospital despite life … elsewhere (it is not clear where), joining the employees Grace, Li and Finn to pronounce Liam a walking dead.

Regarding the designer, only Ridge and Zende are currently working, Eric Retired and Hope of the unemployed. Steffy makes important decisions, and Brooke … Uh … Inspire people? There has been no discussion on fashion lately – especially compared to jewelry or perfume lines. Yet next week, the tour is played! We hit the track.
I know that I am not alone in missing the days when forrester modes were in competition against those of another house. Can we please, please, please have hope checked for a competing line?
Dying is easy, the comedy is hard
I am really dismayed by the way they write Luna and Sheila. Sometimes this show decides to simply ignore the rather unhappy past of a character to go ahead with the story. But in this case, we are told daily that Luna is a double murderer. However, I suppose that we are supposed to find him charming when Sheila and her granddaughter exchange “full-minded” jokes on this subject?
Luna: I managed (my mother) for murder.
Sheila: Yeah, well, we all make mistakes.
Then Sheila encourages Luna to do everything it takes to land her man while the two speak of their desire to prove worthy of being in Finn’s life. And don’t get started in this ridiculous food fight. I said it at the beginning of this chronicle, but we must repeat: unless we now do a full -fledged parody of a soap, let us stop writing such juvenile bustodies … especially when one of those who have engaged in the tiramass to be launched East was one of the most emblematic bad guys of the day.
Random thoughts …
• I picked up a new sentence this week when Hope said that her father “had not come to hear me for a trauma dump.” I will certainly use this all over the line. That said, I almost smothened my coffee when Hope said, “Let’s recap.” Darling, no. The last thing that anyone in the public wants is more Recaping!
• Where, exactly, does Luna live? And how does she offer her constantly evolving fashion wardrobe? At one point, Sheila said that she would help her little child find a place to stay, but what we know, it never happened. Oh, maybe Luna stays with the mysterious Sheila Money friend. You know, the one she mentioned quite often before connecting with Bill. Dude, this show needs a continuity publisher.
• Are we not supposed to notice when Brooke goes to throw himself on Ridge to tear Daphne for having struck Carter? Unlike Ridge, who is now with Taylor, Carter is all fine, a free man, having been dropped by Hope.
