The couple shared six children between them. They have five daughters – Nora Jane, Mira, Belle, Violet Jo and Cleo – and an older boy called Toliver.

“It’s so hard,” she continued. “I want to be and do everything I can to support and encourage you and I don’t want to add to what has become an incredibly difficult time.

“I can’t imagine how it feels to guide your kids through this. I want to bring you all the comfort I can, but I also don’t think it’s fair for me to mingle with everyone who gathers to mourn Angela and I don’t want to meet your family as a friend and try to hide how I feel about you.
