One of Momtok’s original members is entering the scrum in season two of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”.
Hulu’s reality TV show about Eight Influencers from Mormon Mom made his debut in September 2024 and quickly became the first of the most watched unicated season on the streamer that year.
The concept of the show had its roots on Tiktok, where influencer Taylor Frankie Paul admitted in 2022 that she and her husband, Tate Paul, divorced after “Sweet swing“Within their group of friends, became messy.
Most of the actors “Mormon Wives” denied being involved in the viral scandal, but another key player was absent from the reality TV series: Miranda McWhorter, 26, Taylor’s former best friend.
After sitting the first season, Miranda is ready to clear the air in season two, streaming now on Hulu.
“Taylor is a very vocal person and everyone has heard his side of the scandal. But I am finally here to say mine,” said Miranda during the first of season two.

Miranda and Chase met after obtaining their secondary school diploma. They got married in 2017 and welcomed their first child, a son named Brooks Wesley McWhser, two years later. Their second child, a daughter by the name of Cohen Roo McWhser, was born in 2021.
Miranda and Chase revealed in 2024 that they had divorced after seven years of marriage.
In August of the same year, during an appearance on the Podcast of Josie Van Dyke, “Weekly Trash”, Miranda said that the reasons for Chase and Chase reasons came from problems before the swing scandal.
“It may not have been for sure, but it certainly did not play a role in the decision-making process,” she said.
Chase, for his part, told Us Weekly that they had married a little prematurely “but continue to be cordial coparers.

Chase finally detailed his link with the incident two years after the scandal, during his interview in 2024 with US Weekly.
Chase said that the games where the swing took place had started during COVID-19. He said that the couples they were to hang out, “getting alcohol” falling and playing games like Spin The Bottle.
Chase said he and Miranda had participated in some of the games, but “he was never predetermined that we were going to do, like, swinging.”
“This is what we have always thought of being a little distorted in the history of Taylor because it presents it,” he said.

The unexpected appearance of Miranda during an influence event that the start of the season surprises Taylor and the other women because she left Momtok after the explosion of the scandal.
Now single and at a different time from her life, Miranda says she hopes to repair her friendships and perhaps join Momtok. But his version of the scandal contradicts Taylor’s claims, leading to confusion. In addition, some of the women suspect that Miranda may want to join the group to take advantage of lucrative brand offers that accompany Momtok’s renown.
“The height of what I was involved was to play the bottle and kiss other people,” said Miranda. “And so it was very shocking for me for Taylor to go out and say that everyone was connected with everyone, because it was simply not the case at all.”

In episode two, Miranda says that she lied not to be part of the controversy swing because she was not ready to recognize her actions.
In the next episode, Miranda and Taylor discuss the details of what really happened in a tête-à-tête conversation.
While Miranda insists that she went so far as to kiss other people, Taylor says in the confessional that it was more complicated than that.
According to Taylor, they also participated in other things, such as couples with sex in the same bed at the same time. Other times, she said they had blindfolded and tried to guess what husband they kissed. Taylor also remembers a night when she and Miranda drunk that they did while people spun him.
In a confessional, Miranda says that many embarrassing things have happened, and she felt out of control and injured herself when Taylor talked about Tiktok.
“I want me to have released what really happened rather than deny everything,” said Miranda. “It probably made him feel worse and looks worse, and it was not my intention. It was really:” I am terrified and I have a reputation for Mormon to maintain. “And I regret it.”

Nowadays, Miranda’s presence of social media includes sponsored content and videos on single life.
In the premiere of the first of season two, she publishes videos that include some of the Momtokers. Group members also commented on its Tiktok videos.
In April, Momtoker and colleague member of the Layla Taylor distribution joined Miranda and his friends at the Country Music Festival Stagecoach. This month, Miranda also published a Tiktok with Taylor, Layla, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews and Jessi Ngatikaura.
In response to a video that Miranda published on the fears of being a single mother, Taylor commented: “Just there with you mom.”
More recently, Miranda published a Tiktok with Taylor, making fun of his “bestie” for having come out for being a “swinger”.
