The Ravens are the most confusing team in football these days. They have as much talent as any organization of the league and were very positioned to reach the Super Bowl in each of the last two seasons (including the accommodation of the AFC 2023 title match). The problem is that Baltimore has regularly found ways to implode during the clutch moments, with the Lamar Jackson star quarterrier committing four total reversals in the last two team loff. If the Ravens and their chief can shake these worrying habits, there are all the reasons to believe in their ability to win a championship.
It is not as if Baltimore does not compare itself favorably with Philadelphia. These teams played week 13 last season, and the Ravens surpassed the Eagles of 120 yards (372-252). The problem was the former Botter of Ravens Justin Tucker, who missed two goals on the ground and an additional point in this 24-19 defeat. The Ravens had too many moments like that in 2024, but there should also be a serious excitement about this team before fall. Jackson pleaded for his third MVP last year, while he launched for 4,172 yards, ran for 915 and represented 45 affected in total while launching only four interceptions. Derrick Henry ran for the 1,921 yields of the quietest yards and 16 affected in the history of the NFL, while a defense that fought with breakdowns at the start of the season has matured a dominant unit at the end. The additions of the security of Malaki Starks and the Rusher on board Mike Green give this defense a chance to provoke as many chaos as in 2023, when it allowed the fewer points in the league.
There is no doubt that the Ravens will be back in the mixture for a championship, just by looking at the talent of this building. That they overcome the bump depends entirely on how they meet these moments in January.
