Which World Cup matches are on today? – NBC Chicago

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is officially underway and the stakes are already high.
So far we have seen Ecuador beat hosts Qatar 2-0 in Monday’s World Cup opener, followed by England’s 6-2 win over Iran . Soon after, we saw the Netherlands beat Senegal 2-0 and the USMNT draw Wales after an eight-year World Cup drought for the Stars and Stripes.
There’s a lot more excitement to come, so let’s start with the upcoming games. Here’s everything happening today, Tuesday, November 22, at the 2022 FIFA World Cup:
The first match of the day will see the debuts of Argentina and Saudi Arabia in Group C. The two nations will face off at 5 a.m. ET.
The second game of the day will feature Denmark and Tunisia for a Group D game at 8 a.m. ET.
Game 3 will feature Mexico and Poland for a Group C head-to-head at 11 a.m. ET.
And finally, the fourth and final game of the day will feature the debuts of France and Australia at 2 p.m. ET. The Group D match will miss Frances’ Karim Benzema, who announced just before the tournament that he would be out with a thigh injury.
