Greg Gutfeld was noticeably absent from his show on Fox News, The Fiveand some fans were worried. Where did Greg Gutfeld go?
During an episode of The Five broadcast in early December 2024, Dana read aloud a statement from Greg. He revealed that he and his wife, Elena Moussawelcomed a daughter together.
“It is with great joy that my wife Elena and I welcomed a little girl into the world. Mira is healthy with real healthy lungs,” Greg said in his statement, before adding his signature humor. “She has Elena’s beautiful eyes and my rock hard abs. We work hard to teach (their daughter) three languages and put her through rigorous training programs.
Greg also didn’t hesitate to mock Jesse in his statement.
“(My daughter) is already very observant and has asked if Jesse wears a toupee. I told him he was definitely wearing a wig,” the comedian joked before concluding: “As you can understand, we value our privacy and we thank everyone for your well wishes.”
Greg also took to X (formerly Twitter) the same day Dana shared her statement. THE Gutfeld! the host tweeted: “See, that’s how you keep a secret.”

In his tweet, Greg thanked his fans for “all the kind words” of congratulations, and he added “see you soon” to his message. However, he did not specify what “a few” meant in terms of days, weeks or months before he returned home. The Five. Therefore, it is still unclear when Greg will return to the series.
Several media outlets eventually reported that Greg was expected to return to The Five on January 6, 2026.
