While the Steelers launch their OTA sessions without the quarter-Arrière Aaron Rodgers in the team and without a clear indication as for the time he sign, it is just to ask the obvious question.
When will the Rodgers arise?
The answer is just as obvious: whenever he wants.
The steelers falling on his knees and holding the small box with the ring and staying there for weeks while Rodgers decides what to do, the message is that they will continue to wait. Really, what else can they do? Roll with Mason Rudolph?
Steelers are stuck. They agreed. They made power to Rodgers. And they did it happily, because they know that it will be much better than any quarter-rear that they have since since Ben Roethlisberger retired.
Coach Mike Tomlin qualified the start of the “demarcation line” training camp. But, really, if the depth painting consists of Rudolph, Skylar Thompson and Will Howard, would the Steelers say not if Rodgers appears in mid-August, as Brett Favre did with the Vikings 16 years ago?
Here is the key. Even if Rodgers could be ready to go with a limited preparation, him and the steelers will be better if they have a minimum level of preparation before the camp. Even if there will be no clear link between Rodgers which is missing the intersane program and the steelers losing regular season games, the limited preparation exerts more pressure on the situation.
If / when they are struggling, people will make the point obvious that, if Rodgers had shown himself earlier, perhaps perhaps would not be.
