The reigning world champion, D GUKESH, recently revealed the secret of his meteoric chess ascent and stuck in great shape in order to stay informed of the best players in the world. “My hours of training depend on the day. When I have no commitment, I devote almost 10 hours to chess,” Gukesh told the newspaper.

It was through his hard work that Gukesh has made his way in the ranks to dislodge Viswanathan Anandand as a best -classified chess player in India in 2023, and also became the youngest winner in the history of the candidates and the world championship and the star of Olympia of chess.
