The reigning world champion, D GUKESH, recently revealed the secret of his meteoric chess ascent and stuck in great shape in order to stay informed of the best players in the world. Talk about The time of IndiaThe 18 -year -old Indian Master revealed that even if he had no fixed training program, he devotes almost 10 hours to the game when he has no commitment.

“My hours of training depend on the day. When I have no commitment, I devote almost 10 hours to chess,” Gukesh told the newspaper.

It was through his hard work that Gukesh has made his way in the ranks to dislodge Viswanathan Anandand as a best -classified chess player in India in 2023, and also became the youngest winner in the history of the candidates and the world championship and the star of Olympia of chess.

How has the preparation of the world championship helped Gukesh in subsequent events

Gukesh also revealed that the vast preparations he had undergone for the world championship in Singapore, in which he defeated the holder of the time, Ding Liren 7.5-6.5, also helped him in the following tournaments.

Gukesh had finished an 8th in 10 disappointing competitor at the opening event of the tour in Weissenhaus, Germany, after having failed to win a single match, but supports itself to rebound in the unpredictable format which has its back arranged at random before each match.
