What’s Fixed in the October 2025 Pixel Update Detailed by Verizon

Google has yet to release the October 2025 Pixel Update, but details of Verizon’s upcoming OTA are now available.

The US carrier’s release notes suggest the update should have arrived today. As of Tuesday afternoon (PT), nothing from Google was available yet.

According to Verizon, the Android security patch level is still “September 2025” because Google’s October 2025 Android security bulletin does not list any issues. The build numbers for the October 2025 Pixel Update are:

• Pixel 10: BD3A.251005.003.W3
• Pixels 9 to 7: BP3A.251005.004.B1

• Fixed an issue that caused a semi-transparent background to appear after launching the camera.
• Fixed an issue where the system would crash when starting or stopping streaming with the media output switcher.

Pixel 10 and 9 series are getting a fix for why “Flashlight status was not showing on the At a Glance widget”.

The Pixel 7 has a display and graphics fix: “Fixed an issue that caused the screen to flicker and turn off under certain conditions.”

For most devices, this is the first patch since Android 16 QPR1 launched last month. However, the Pixel 10 series received two updates in September to address a “blurry display” issue.
