According to the parent company, all Bob’s Stores will close this month and all inventory will be liquidated.

When do Bob’s stores close?
The last day of operation is scheduled for July 14.
Bob’s Stores Store Closing Sale
Closing-out sales are now underway for all stores that are still open. They began on June 28 with discounts ranging from 30 to 70 percent, depending on the closing announcement.
What if you had a gift card?
The company said gift cards and merchandise credits will be honored through the close of business on July 14. No purchase exchanges can be made after that date, according to the closing announcement.
What you need to know about closures
The company said “Bob’s Stores was unable to obtain the financing necessary to maintain its operations” and filed for bankruptcy protection on June 18.
“We regret that our financial situation has necessitated the liquidation of Bob’s Stores. Bob’s has been a pillar of our local communities for nearly 70 years and we know our customers remember us as being there for the important moments in their lives. We remain grateful to our vendors, suppliers, customers and employees for all their support over the years,” said Dave Barton, president of Bob’s Stores, in a statement.

Layoffs began at the retailer in late May, and the first round of store closures was made public in early June.
This announcement included Bob’s Store locations in Southington and Hamden.
Which Bob’s Stores are affected?
On Monday, a longer list of New England locations was given, as the company said it would “close all Bob’s locations and liquidate all inventory.”
