“I have no problem now, obviously I already knew it for longer than I should announce it at some point, but I’m totally fine now.

“I know I can’t do this job over and over and over and over again. »

So it looks like Klopp will give himself some time to rest and step away from management as his energy wanes.

And it won’t be a small break, as he confirmed he won’t manage for at least a year after leaving Liverpool.

“Will I ever work again?” » he continued. “Of course, I know myself, I can’t sit still, maybe I’ll find something else to do.

But what are his plans after his break from gaming? Well, Klopp has revealed that he will not return to the Premier League.

“What I know for sure is that I will never 100 per cent manage any other club in England than Liverpool,” he said. “It is not possible.

“My love for this club, my respect for the people is too great. I couldn’t. I couldn’t think about it for a second. There’s no chance. It’s part of my life, we’re part of the family we feel at home here.

“There is no chance of doing this.”

Klopp has been linked with the German national job as well as Bayern Munich, however, there is no indication he will take on a new role any time soon.

He replied: “If you ask me: ‘Will you work as a manager again?’ » I would now say no.

“But I obviously don’t know what that’s going to be like because I’ve never had that situation.”
