In February, actor Michelle Trachtenberg was found dead in his apartment in the city center at 39 years old. On Wednesday, officials released his cause of death, judging that she died of the complications related to diabetes.
In the days following his death, Trachtenberg died complications with his liver surgery, police told journalists. His cause of death was initially deemed indefinite after his family refused an autopsy, and the police granted the request because the death was not deemed suspicious. Officials said on Wednesday that his death cause was determined using laboratory results.
Following her death, many former trachtenberg co-stars shared their work memories with her. Blake Lively, who played with her Gossip Girlremembered Trachtenberg as “fiercely faithful to her friends and courageous for those she loved” and “large and daring and distinctly herself”.
“May his work and huge heart remember those who have had the chance to live his fire,” said Lively.
Rosie O’Donnell, who played with her Harriet the spy When Trachtenberg was 10 years old, she called her “heartbreaking” loss, adding: “I liked her very much. She has struggled in recent years. I would have liked to be able to help. “
