What was the attendance like for Syracuse Basketball’s loss to Louisville at the JMA Dome?

Syracuse, NY — Syracuse University has announced a crowd of 19,750 fans for Tuesday night’s ACC game against Louisville at the JMA Wireless Dome.

This is the largest attendance announced for the season so far.

Those in attendance watched as Louisville handed Syracuse an 85-61 loss to bring the Orange to 8-9 (2-4).

Syracuse, which posted its lowest attendance of the season last week against Georgia Tech, received a boost in the stands from returning students with SU’s spring semester beginning Monday.

Syracuse, which has led the nation in total attendance 28 times since the Carrier Dome (now JMA Wireless Dome) opened in 1980 and consistently finishes in the Top 3 in that category, is currently fourth in cumulative attendance (172 924).

Syracuse averages 17,292 fans per game, which ranks fifth nationally.
